The cafe is basic, with large portions of freshly made food including white bread, chips, and simple salads. The staff were pleasant, but the service was mediocre. As we left at 2:20, we noticed the door closing firmly behind us even though the cafe was supposed to be open for another 40 minutes. If you're looking for a dining experience, I suggest trying a different town.
I had the best bacon sandwich I've had in a long time at this restaurant, and it was the perfect spot for a much-needed lunch break last Thursday afternoon. The cafe was spotlessly clean, tidy, and had a fantastic, friendly atmosphere. It's a great discovery that I will definitely visit again. The double espresso was perfect - so perfect that I ended up having 4 shots!
This is a traditional cafe, catering for all tastes. Proper coffee, proper breakfasts and homemade cakes. You feel right at home due to the friendly staff and attentive service. A real asset to the town
Good coffee, good quality produce, good company, great little find in the market place, will return when next in town
I come in here most days for breakfast or lunch, always get a pleasant welcome from all the staff. Karen and Stella who own it have Zoe, Vicki, Abbi and Jacqui who are all great ambassadors for this little cafe and that makes it by far the best cafe in Saxmundham by a country mile. Here you get top quality breakfasts/lunches, all cooked to order and nicely presented, homemade soups are available together with homemade cakes, sausage rolls, scones and other delights, check what's available when you visit. There are cheaper places in Sax but you don't get the quality that Trinitys offer. The menu isn't set in stone so you can change, add or amend anything to suit your requirements. At busy times you may experience a slightly longer wait but this is because it's all cooked to order, nothing prepacked here, (well ok, maybe the lattice potatoes), but everything else is locally sourced wherever possible and is cooked to perfection. Trinitys is well worth a visit if you're in town, a recent addition is the ability to pay by credit/debit card. Stella and Karen have run this place for about 6 years, previous owners have come and gone after only a few months so these ladies must be doing something right. They have succeeded where others have failed miserably. Give them a try, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
