Sarinas Afghan Cuisine - Suffern

What a delightful discovery! The lamb shank was excellent, and the eggplant salad was quite pleasant as well.

I stopped by on a whim for a late lunch after noticing the signs for Afghan cuisine. The atmosphere was an intriguing blend of a take-out spot and a more upscale dining experience, featuring elegant table settings with thick cotton tablecloths, heavy cloth napkins, and silverware you’d expect to find in a finer restaurant. I ordered steamed dumplings filled with beef, and they arrived within just a few minutes—hot, incredibly fresh, and served in a delicious sauce that I couldn't get enough of. I left feeling a bit regretful that I hadn’t ordered more, but certain that I would return to explore more of the menu. If you're in search of new and exciting flavors, this is an excellent choice. Give it a try!

I visited Sarinas for the first time and ordered the Chicken Gyro lunch along with Beef Sambosas. The flavors were absolutely delicious, and the aroma was fantastic. I'm really looking forward to returning to try more dishes! The sauces added to the meal wonderfully; my favorites were the white sauce and the red hot sauce.

The food here is so flavorful and fresh! The chicken Chapli is loaded with flavor. I tried an afghan chicken gyro. Very different from the Greek gyros. Big chunks of marinated chicken with a wonderful dressing. Really incredible flavors! Veryreasonably priced.

We tried the family combo for four and a falafel sandwich. The food was flavorful and everyone enjoyed it. I ordered the food for takeout on the premise and it was ready in a reasonable amount of time as they prepared it fresh. The staff was friendly andthe price was reasonable. We will definitely try again.
