Old River Mill Sourdough Bakery

What a great place to venture. I purchased some outstand bread and some baked goods from this little treasure (GREAT PRICES). They have a variety of Polish meats and a number of other European products. The staff is just lovely. Well worth the trip from Jackson Heights!

Stopped by this place while on a road trip as we were hungry. Had a simple cream cheese toasted bagel, but it was amazing. Place looks a little dated but don’t let that put you off.

I've been here before but just after staying in Winchester Bay for 8 nights this July I thought I'd do a review of the place. 2 years ago when I was there they had many more things to sell, but this year I was told a new owner-manager? 2 years ago I bought some jam from them and they even mailed it to my house, of course I had to pay. This year I did get jam and just walked across the street to the post office and did it myself. They don't do the mailing thing anymore. No big deal. The day before I left I bought one of their huge cinnamon rolls and boy was it good!! Cost $7.25 but it was enough for 4 people! Still a nice place but was better 2 years ago,in my opinion.
