Shack a Patates - Sudbury

I recently visited Shake a Patates for the first time and was extremely impressed! The poutine was the best I've ever had, with perfectly crispy fries, an abundance of cheese curds, and delicious gravy. I will definitely be returning soon and becoming a frequent customer. Highly recommend trying it out!

The fries are delicious. We ordered two with gravy and thought it was a bit expensive at $1.10 for the gravy. It tasted good, but was a little pricey for what it was. We'll probably skip the gravy next time. It's the only chip truck open early in the area, and they seem to have a thriving business.

This rating is not meant to be compared with fine dining........This food truck opens in the spring, closes in the fall.......it has been around for at least 10 years....same location all the time......they don't skimp.....they load up the poutine with cheese gravy etc......just as poutine should be......rich and chocked full of flavour if you know what I mean.......their shack dog.....bacon and melted cheese are large and filling......their homemade pogos are the largest I've seen.......they also have breaded chicken strips.....it is everthing you expect from this fast growing industry.....fresh cut fries....real home type thick bacon.....none of the thin usual stuff.....

I enjoy Subway, but I find the service to be lacking in Iroquois Falls. However, the food is delicious.
