Dilly Dally Subiaco

First time to Dilly Dally in Subiaco, it’s a lovely quirky venue. We first had drinks at Bar Loiter (it’s out back). The staff were friendly and atmosphere is relaxed. The wine list is extensive but the staff are knowledgeable and can guide you. We then had dinner at Dilly Dally. Again staff were friendly, we had a seat inside near the staircase. My husband I shared 4 dishes. We had fried potatoes which were absolutely delicious very good value $13, then we had prawns potato dill which was not good value at all $27 for only 3 small prawns we paid for an extra prawn so we’d get 2 each. It was on a thin spread of potato purée (there should have been 6 prawns at that size or 3 big plump juicy king prawns). The flavours were great but honestly we were taken aback a few more prawns on the plate would have changed our opinion. Next we had pork sausage mozzarella arancini $16 (4 good size balls) very tasty, and finely we had the crayfish special $65 which was 1/2 a cray with spaghetti, again the flavours were amazing but price wise a tad steep. We noticed most people were eating the pizzas fried potato's which are very good value. Yes, we’ll be back and will try other dishes. Overall a great venue and yummy food 8/10.. Great atmosphere Italian inspired gotta love it! Superb wine list. Pizza was stronger tasting and a little saltier than expected. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I was not impressed when I had to keep my cutlery from the starter to use again. With a little more attention to detail, it could have been so much better. The food was lovely Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
