La Puerta de La Tradicion - Suba

This was our last stage on our Bogota food tour and really enjoyed the Tamales. It is basically chicken, pork and rice, wrapped in plantain leaves. The dish was delicious, and the meat was cooked nicely. The Refajo was good, a typical Colombian drink consisting of a mixture of soda and beer. Service was fast and atmosphere really unique!

A great restaurant right in front of La Candelari with very courteous and helpful staff, we were a Larhe group sitting in a quiet room upstairs, the food was amazing as the local fresh fruit juice (try the Bandeja Paisa dish and the Moro fruit juice). Well cooked food, served quite fast for such a Larhe group and very cheap

Good place to explore typical Colombian food, otherwise it is very touristy. The food is good as the service, but if you want to save money, go few blocks and find not so beautiful looking place with twice less price.

This place has been serving the same traditional Colombian food for more than 100 years. While it is located close to the major tourist attractions, this is also a favourite place for locals. The variety of food will certainly fill your stomach.
