Chives - Suamico

Visited this place about a month ago. The service was fine and our server was nice. Honestly a fine clean place and it looks fancy for a date. (I have a very positive comment at the end) I think my only complaint is for all fancier restaurants with more expensive food, including this place; I feel the slightest upset that this place didn't have the food quality that I expect for what I am paying for. My fiancé took me out for birthday dinner last night. Everything about the meal was awesome! The quality of the food, the veggies were super fresh, the sauces were incredible...and those chocolate chip cookies were divine! Thanks to my Honey the staff at Chives for a memorable day ????

We had heard of this place from friends as a ?sister restaurant? of RYE Restaurant, our favorite Appleton restaurant! So of course we had to try?and we?ll be back! Like RYE, they have nailed approachable fine dining. Comfortable dining room, excellent service (our server was Michael ????????????, but the whole staff was very attentive and courteous), and the food was creative and delicious! We enjoyed a few specials for the evening, along with the French Onion Soup!

Chives is probably the best spot I've had in Green Bay. The service is great and the food is too. Not to mention it's one of the only elevated cuisine spots I've found in upper Wisconsin. I'm sure I'll be back. @dietproof

I heard a lot about this place and it certainly has its charm. I loved the decor and quaint feel of the bar. It was small and busy but not crowded. They have a great selection of alcohol and a nice wine list. We started with east coast oysters and chicken and goat cheese wontons. Both were exquisite.
