Linsen mit Spätzle und Bauchspeck und am Tüt'le Senf + Essig! Lecker ..... genauso lieben wir Schwaben es ????????

Der Zwiebelrostbraten war exzellent, die anderen waren mit ihren Essen auch sehr zufrieden. Wir waren dort zu einer Familienfeier, das heißt sie waren auch sehr gut in der Lage eine sehr große Gruppe zu handeln (ca. 25). Lediglich eine Aktualisierung der Einrichtung wäre mal zu empfehlen, wem das weniger wichtiger ist, kann dort wirklich sehr gut Essen.

Wir waren sehr überrascht: Die Qualität der Speisen und Vesper sind sehr gut und dies zu absolut angemessenem Preis!

For three years we lived in Vaihingen and this was our "go to" place. Local beer, schnitzel and other local favorites, with a salad bar. You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table but this is NOT fast food. All hand cooked when you order. Delicious. From spargel dishes in the spring to lentils and wurst year round, the food was always good. Family run with a great balcony for al fresco dining in nice weather. A real gem.

I have said before that it is difficult to get a bad meal in Germany and the food here is good but not great. It is fresh and it normally has a salad bar which is rare (in my experience) in Germany. While the salad bar doesn't have that many ingredients the ones that it does has have are fresh and good. The menu is limited as is the beer selection but luckily they do carry *usually* a very good Keller Bier. I have been there for about a dozen Hail and Farewell events and also for various lunches (I lived in Vaihingen within walking distance) and it was always good...not great but good. You order when you first walk in and get a receipt and then get a place to sit. Not normal but it works.One thing that I like about it is that it is a good 10-15 minute walk from the front gate of Patch. That walk back helps settle your stomach and stretch your legs if you work in that area.
