We ordered the mixed plate for two and we were totally full. The owner offered to bring us more injera but...what was served on the place was already plenty. Total thumbs up!
Ethiopian Eritrean cuisine are quite similar, but i've never had Ethiopian cuisine that even came close to the heavenly meal i just had at Injeera... In LA, there are or so Ethiopian restaurants on a small stretch of Fairfax Blvd below Olympic, and...i tried several dishes from many of them, wondering what all the fuss was about- flavors were indistinct, even a bit muddy- genuinely unimpressive!!! NOT so with Injeera's Eritrean food- from the smells wafting through the cozy space upon arrival, to the tables packed with smiling diners enjoying the food to the last drop, to the genuinely smiling owner, i feltright away that i was in for a singular experience- and it was, indeed, simply one of the greatest meals i have EVER had- EVER!!! if you're in Stuttgart, this place IS A MUST- but make a reservation, they are always (justifiably) busy!!!
It was our first experience with African cuisine. Food was delicious and spicy. In love with Injeera and zigni !!!
Came across this restaurant by accident, but it was well worth it! Delicious food, good service and popular with the locals.
Nice ambiance and really good quality vegan food. Decently priced. A must visit for vegans visiting Stuttgart.
