Dan's Kitchen - Sturgeon Bay

Recommended to us by a local. The food was delicious, the prices were very good, and the family who owns it was super friendly. So glad we stopped in!

I got the squash curry here once and it was delicious. My second visit I got the soup and did not care for it but that's probably just because there was a lot of cilantro and I have the soap gene. I'll definitely go back for more curry!

The app notified me that the delivery person was on their way, so I waited 20 minutes for my food. However, it never indicated that the delivery person had actually arrived or that the food had been delivered. I eventually discovered that my food had been sitting outside my door for possibly another 20 minutes. The delivery person didn't knock or ring the doorbell to announce their arrival. When I finally brought the food inside, it wasn't hot. The entree looked nothing like the picture on the website; it was very watery and mostly contained peppers instead of cashews. Overall, it was disappointing.

I'm giving a five-star rating for both the food and service. This is definitely a fantastic spot for takeout. The staff is very attentive and friendly, and the quality of the food was outstanding. Just a heads up: if you can’t handle spicy food, avoid ordering medium or hot, as it's authentically prepared. It's even better than some places in Green Bay!

I had an amazing first experience at this restaurant! I ordered the Drunken Noodles with Beef, Fried Rice with Chicken, and Pork Ribs, and everything was delicious! I also had a great conversation with the owner, Dan—what a fantastic guy! I would definitely recommend this place and can't wait to return!
