Pirates Cove Resort and Marina - Stuart

Happy Hour food in the Tiki bar with a large group was perfect. Many seats. Excellent waiting staff always available. Good food and reasonable prices. And who could complain about the view? Will be back.

We were in Pirates Cove a few times, by car and by boat. The last time the prices had risen quite strongly, I guess how most hotels they still try to raise the money they lost through lockdown again. We were 3 nights and came up with the boat, so this was our only form of transport. This was not a concern for us, although we know that many restaurants are a short walk away. Pirate Cove is a little off the beaten track, but this is a good thing, but it is still busy in The Loft Restaurant and in the bar outside at the marina. You can book a table in The Loft and as you expect it to come first served outside. I am also pleased that they have started breakfast in The Loft again, this is over again because of covid and personnel problems I suspect. Everyone was friendly and polite, there is a restoration through the marina at the moment, it didn't really disturb us. There are live entertainment on weekends, it can be quite intrusive when your room is nearby, again it has not affected us. Dockside there is a branch / harbour championship with provisions for a day on the water when you come by boat. I have copied the marina and the hotels prices that were accurate at the time of writing this review. I especially saw a price hike at the hotel. We were last pre pandemic in August the hotel was $150 plus taxes at night, now depending on what view you want it to be $290 with taxes. I like it here, but if you bring a boat, ours is a 23 ft center console, and stay at the hotel you are looking for almost $400 a night. That's a lot and always too high for what Pirates Cove is. But if people come again and again and pay these prices, they will of course continue to be charged. In summary, this is a beautiful small hotel with pretty good amenities, pool, gift shop, good parking, a marina and a store, add to it and a selection of places to eat if you do not take a small walk. It will always be too expensive, so I will see if my desire to return to this place and love is tempered by the prices.

Austin at the reception expanded this grace after changing our travel plans. This hotel is highly recommended due to the kindness, flexibility and efficiency of the staff!

Austin companies at the reception were amazing!! Stay in room 301 overlooking the water, absolutely beautiful! We will definitely come back next year. However, our experience in the restaurant was not acceptable, from house to house ALL must address the problem ASAP. We will stay absolutely at the resort, but as for the restaurant we will eat somewhere else. until things get better

It?s a great place to eat and have you?re event. I have provided DJ and Photo Booth services over the years here and we always enjoy working at this venue. The views are nice, they have a great bar and restaurant area.
