I love Osceola Street Cafe? it is the kind of restaurant where the owners and employees really take care of food. It is also one of my favorite places to eat in Stuart. I love the cozy atmosphere, the delicious soups, sandwiches, desserts and coffee. The servers are wonderful (our waitress today was Anya)! I have come many times over the years and always enjoy it.
We had breakfast on the outside street side terrace. Limited breakfast items, but many pastries, bagels, etc. I like baked beef hash and hashbrowns. They didn't. Rumored potatoes were respectable. That was kind of different. They had selfish coffee. From the terrace to the back of the restaurant was a small hike, so I never got a warm-up. Overall, the food was good, but if you are looking for full service breakfast, try another restaurant.
We had breakfast outside on the west side of the building as it was shady and its August in Florida. One of us had the waffle and another had the quiche. Both were delicious and the coffee is also very good. It is a coffee bar, serve the atmosphere. The best was the water and cookies for my dog. Sweet.
While visiting historical downtown Stuart I stopped at Osceola Street Cafe. This quaint little Cafe was cozy and offered tables that sit up to four comfortably. Outdoor seating was available. Soft 70s rock was playing in the background making for a mellow and comfortable lunch. I had the California Chicken and Veggie wrap with a side of coleslaw. The sandwich was great. A spinach tortilla stuffed with slices of hot chicken breast, avocado, tomatoes, onions and cucumber, with a nice vinegarette on the side. The coleslaw was fresh, creamy and lite. A nice place to stop and enjoy lunch.
