Fiesta Del Mar - Streamwood

I love fiesta del mar, eating is always delicious and perfectly spiced, service is excellent and the entire staff is friendly and professional. karaoke at the weekend is super fun and the entire atmosphere is really alive and pleasant. I recommend!

First visit. I like to try a carne asada at the first visit. that was very good. also the steak enchiladas, excellent. service was excellent. next time it's the whole fish.

Great atmosphere, excellent staff. Food was fantastic. Great variety on menu. Some of the best sauces with their food. Must try. Will be dining there again soon.

Food was very good and portions were large. Had language issue with wait staff (Spanish was his principal language), but resolved with some patients and all orders were correct. Food was a little slow getting out, and building was a little warm, but not a real problem. We had group of 7 and they would not split up check, so they probably didn't get as much tip as if they had. Overall group was happy with experience and intend to return.

The general atmosphere was nice, the servers were as accommodating as they could be; we ended up needing someone to assist ours, as his English wasn't the greatest, but he was incredibly sweet and communicated quite well as far as I was concerned, despite the language barrier. I was with 6 other people who spoke no Spanish whatsoever and were a tad impatient, but things ultimately worked out well. The food was absolutely delicious, and while inflation apparently played a bit of a role in the prices from what one of the people in our party told us, the portions were still huge and very filling. The only thing that I, personally, didn't like too much, and this was negligible, was how warm and muggy it felt inside, still, after coming in from being out in 90+ heat with high humidity and dew points. And I mean, it really wasn't THAT bad, but I have a couple health issues that make it hard for me to tolerate that kind of weather, so that's all it was. Otherwise, everything was pretty great! I'd actually like to go check it out again on a night where they have the live entertainment and karaoke; while I understand the place draws primarily Hispanic crowds, and I'd imagine therefore a congruent type of entertainment, I've always enjoyed it when having dined at my other go-to place, La Hacienda. They never have any open seating anymore, though, and this place is much closer to home. It may become my new go-to. :
