China Cook - Streamwood

I am surprised by some of the negative reviews. We have been ordering from China Cook for years, and it's always been excellent. Whenever our family visits, they insist that we order from there. The delivery drivers are incredibly friendly and consistently arrive faster than expected. We love their house fried rice, beef and vegetables, crab rangoons, lo mein—everything we've tried has been great. We’re huge fans!

This restaurant is conveniently located near my home, and I've ordered from here several times in the hope that it would improve, but unfortunately, it hasn’t. The most disappointing aspect is the lunch specials, which are quite expensive. You receive just a few pieces of meat, with an overwhelming amount of vegetables and rice. I consider myself knowledgeable about good Chinese food, and this place falls short. Do yourself a favor and choose Golden Bowl or 4 Seasons in the same area instead.

I always get the orange tofu from here, I love the taste. I wish their delivery would be better because the drivers are always mean and demanding (to the point that they ask how much they typ and scream instead of knocking) they also do not follow delivery instructions, but the intake of eating from here is never a problem.

I am shocked by some of the bad reviews. we have ordered from china cook for yeeaars and it is sooo good. when our family comes, they demand that we order. the delivery drivers are so nice and they are always faster than they say they will be. we love their house roasted rice, bark meat and sweet, crab rangoons, lo mine.everything we had. huge fans here!

Crispy szechuan bark was great. hot and acidic suppe has no meat when that is her ding. great balance of hot and sour.
