My son and I stopped at this restaurant on our way from Dallas to our hunting lease in Baird, which was probably over 15 years ago. We had quite a long wait for a table—nearly an hour since it was a Friday night. The only thing I wish is that the hostess had been more transparent about how long the wait would actually be. However, the food was worth it; it was the best chicken fried steak we've ever had. My son was around 11 years old at the time, but we both remember that meal as if it were yesterday. Despite the long wait, he handled it like a champ, and I hope we can go back together again soon. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We stopped on our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it. The food was amazing and the service was just as amazing. Our waiter Cody went above and beyond! We also was blessed by the owner.
