Red Lion - Stratford-on-Avon

Popped into the pub, not been in for a good years as moved within Warwickshire. Took an odd turning from stocking up the meat and veg at nearby farm. Glad I did. Landed by default at the pub. Lovely hosts, warm and welcoming. Will definitely return.

We came across this pub looking for a country pub with character and it did not disappoint one bit. We are a family of with young children and were welcomed in so warmly that we felt like we were visiting family. The menu was one of the best we have seen, proper home cooked food like your mum would make, the food was delicious and there was empty plates by all even our fussy youngest boy. A real little gem of a pub that we will be visiting weekly. A must do visit.

Immersed in the chance and had very nice cake and piping. the guinness was excellent as the service. a nice, interesting conversation with the renter while we waited for the meal. we will definitely be back when the sun seems, so we can enjoy the view of the gardens.

Present them pub in a beautiful part of warwickshire. only a real ale option, but it was well maintained and enjoyed. simple but well cooked and presented menu options. friendly local and very friendly service, recommended.
