Giggling Squid - Stratford-on-Avon

We pre booked this as one of our restaurants for a weekend stay in Stratford as have never been disappointed by the restaurant chain Again excellent Great quality food well presented and extremely flavourful

Had dinner at The Giggling Squid in Stratford-Upon-Avon last night. Booked through the call centre and we were a little concerned that they’d booked us into one in Stratford in London but no, the restaurant confirmed they’d got us in. Starters were good… particularly the dumplings. My pork main course was amazing. Service was very relaxed… no hassle or pushing us to vacate the table. Great place.

I recently visited Giggling Squid for the first time while in Stratford upon Avon, and I must say, it is an outstanding restaurant chain. From the fantastic cocktails (I highly recommend the Thai Sabai and Thai Mojitos) to the delicious starters (we tried 6 different dishes) and top-notch main courses, everything was simply amazing. The standout dishes for me were the Chicken Massaman curry, Paneang Chicken curry, Sticky Chicken stir fry, and Samui Zingy Prawns. The Salt and Pepper Squid, Pork Dumplings, and Chicken Satay starters were also delightful. I would also recommend trying the garlicky Pak Choi and Tender-stem Broccoli as a side. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed. I am looking forward to visiting another Giggling Squid closer to home soon.

A wonderful evening for a very special reunion family dinner on Saturday 21st October. Everything from the booking process to the meal was perfect, the food was delicious and the service excellent. Thank you to all the staff that made our evening so special and memorable.

I dined at this restaurant in October on a Tuesday evening with my colleagues from work. It was quite busy already and our group consisted of twelve people, so it was a large gathering. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and everyone enjoyed their meal.
