Big thanks to Pam and all the staff at the Buck and Bell. We had a big family Sunday lunch here...17 of us including 5 kids, which was quiet a big ask. But everything went very smoothly...orders were all correct despite the chaos of everyone talking at once and changing their minds. The food was hot and plentiful and delicious. Nothing was too much trouble...even photo requests when they were so busy. We plan to return soon ...we'll done everyone! Sue and Trev Reeves
9 adults and 2 children We pre booked so knew we were coming. No starters on offer Sunday roast was terrible Lamb shank was solid infact burnt. The meals came up in dribs and drabs Then we came to the sweets Three never arrived One apple pie was no bigger than the spoon it came with. They did take the money off for the sweets but as 3 never came !!!!!
My wife and I popped in yesterday afternoon for a few drinks and ended up staying until closing time. There’s plenty of choice and drinks prices are very reasonable compared to others in the village. The owners and bar staff were all really nice too. Theres plenty of seating,we found a proper little sun trap too. The kitchen is being refurbished so the owners allowed us to order a takeaway as we were starving.
Light lunch was excellent. Ordered toasted sandwiches with a plate of chips J2o and a pint of pedigree
