99 Restaurants - Stratford

UPDATE: The 99 Restaurant has reached out to ask for my location to discuss my experience, so here it is: Stratford, CT. I think the follow-up should include a conversation about their policies, procedures, and customer service. Many restaurants struggled during the pandemic, and it’s loyal customers like me who helped keep them afloat. There are countless chain restaurants out there. I’m still in disbelief and won't be returning. The person who answered the phone completely dropped the ball. Who even says, "We’re a little busy"? I have a family of nine—trust me, I know what busy means! That’s part of their job! Unbelievable. Everyone is busy; it’s called life.

Absolutely delicious! I definitely went back and ordered the same dish, haha. You get a generous portion for a really reasonable price.

The constant stream of propaganda on the screens around the restaurant made for an uncomfortable atmosphere during what would have otherwise been a mediocre meal. I won't be coming back to this chain. It's not surprising that the place was nearly empty on a Saturday night.

We ordered a strawberry martini and it tasted like straight water and looked nothing like the picture. We ordered the boneless wings and they were undercooked and just plain not good at all. The serving size for an appetizer I can tell you it wasn?t worth the $10. The worst part about it all is that this place had a bad smell when we walked in.

I hadn't been here since i was much younger kid. for some reason i always thought it was a steak place. but they actually just have a regular american menu with enough items that everyone can be happy. in fact, i'm pescatarian and vegetarian most days. and they had plenty on the menu for me moreso than most other places. they had bean burger, impossible burger, shrimp tacos, mediterranean bowl...i went after my workout with my gym squad. the shrimp tacos were a hit all around. i got the impossible burger with coleslaw. i could have used more coleslaw considering you could get coleslaw OR fries, and i'm sure it would have been ample fries, so give me ample coleslaw too! the ice team was really good. perfectly lemony and sweet enough. we had a 5yr old with us and he was happy with his chicken fingers/fries. and my 15yr old nephew tore up his cheeseburger. our server was attentive and got all the orders right. and one staff even helped us take our group photo and she got multiple angles and poses out of us, so she's HIRED! lol! i'll definitely go back here.
