Little Italy - Strasburg

5 stars. Great Breakfast Coffee is fantastic. Staff goes out of their way to make you comfortable. We are always happy to introduce visiting friends to this place knowing they will leave impressed and satisfied. This place goes above and beyond other local eateries. Worth every penny. Love the local artwork available inside so much I took some home.

Discovered this quaint restaurant when looking for a place to meet friends for brunch. Was not disappointed!! The interior was a cross between a cozy coffee shop and a local family restaurant and oozed with personality. The waitstaff was very friendly and they even reserved a table for us when we called ahead, since both we and the folks we were meeting were traveling from out of town. They offer a nice variety of hot beverages and I was very impressed with the tea selection, since I am not a coffee drinker. When it came time to order, we all opted for breakfast items, though the lunch menu looked good as well. The Big Billy Bowl special was out of this world, and the Hot Mess had a great combination of flavors and was very filling. The breakfast burritos were also phenomenal! We will definitely be back if our travels ever bring us close to Strasburg in the future!!

As always, Billy and the kitchen staff took superb care of us. Our entrees were tasty as usual and the desserts were to die for. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon and were immediately made to feel unwelcome by the lady who eventually came out from the back. When we asked for an espresso drink from the menu, she responded with frustration, suggesting that the machine might not be functioning, and then went over to it, visibly annoyed. It would have been perfectly fine if the machine wasn’t working; a polite explanation would have sufficed instead of making us feel like we were in the wrong for ordering something from the menu. The young man in the establishment had a friendly attitude and offered to get us regular coffee, but the negative vibe created by the woman made us decide to leave. It’s really disappointing, as we had heard great things about Cristina’s.

Cristina's Cafe was the ideal conclusion to a wonderful day of hiking. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the food is excellent. A delightful added bonus is that Sunday evenings feature talented local musicians performing solo.
