Winstub S'Kaechele - Strasbourg

In a very warm and pleasant atmosphere, the alsatian restaurant offers us a generous cuisine, prepared with fresh and seasonal products (onion soup, covered sauerkraut, hamburg. authentic on our plates, a very nice establishment a few steps from the little france.

I had already tasted the sauerkraut and I had not been a fan but served in this restaurant I felt like I discovered the sauerkraut and I just loved it.

During our visit to the Christmas market we were happy enough to choose this restaurant for our meal. This was early December and the weather was the typical cool and rainy weather. So we had the cliché onion soup and escargot as... The soup was perfect for the weather and warmed us nicely. The Escargot was already out of the bowl and dipped bread into the garlic/butter after that was the sky. Had the black Forrest ham with potato pancakes that was amazing. All in it was about 30 euros a person who is not cheap, but worth the food and the atmosphere. Would come back. Have fun.
