Le Cornichon Masqué Strasbourg

Lots of options, tons of praise. Majority of menu is naturally/could be made gluten free, waiter confidently walked us through each option when we told him upon arrival. Unbelievable lamb and chocolate mousse with wine to pair. Highly recommend!

Le cornichon masqué is a beautiful little retaurant at the place du marché gayot near the straßburger kathedrale. the waiter was very friendly and capable and ready to speak fluent English and explain the menu. the menu had only 4 hand-kept dishes at that day, which is a good sign in the rule. I had the poitrine de cochon (pork belly,) which was very tender, which was a crispy crust. it was well paired with the local beer (perle) that had a nice citrus taste. it is not a cheap restaurant, but still the prices are very reasonable for the worth they get and remember that they are in the old town of straßburg.

Restaurant located on a beautiful place and is worth a visit, behind the cathedral. traditional dishes worked and revisions in a modern way were tasty. the setting is pleasant and leaves room for a good lunch or dinner with friends in particular. Despite a wine we had to change after having tasted, the waiter advised us another wine that was really good! Moreover, he left us the time to enjoy our evening with friends while we had no more than us, thank you. To discover!
