BISTROT MODERNE - Strasbourg

Many positive reviews led us to this facility. when we arrived at lunch, the restaurant was practically abandoned, which should have been a warning. menu looked at the attractions for lunch. we were welcomed by our waitress with very little enthusiasm. we ordered the very large lunch salads, which were very well garnished - even for salad clothing was very easy a balsamico vinegar and meat topping were not properly thought and under seasoned. don't eat badly, but certainly nothing that will bring me back. Maybe we caught them on a bad day. service lacked enthusiasm and not really worth mentioning. we left without leaving a tipp that happens very rarely - also for france.

Service was great. eating was easy. the menu was only salate in the round. I was alone with my family at one point and it was creepy quiet. no music. no sound from the kitchen

Recommended the highest performance. the food was excellent, but the service was indescribable. we were randomly locked up in this restaurant during the straßburger schießerei on December. the personal treated us like family and the owner landed on wonderful wise to find us a hotel when the city center (where our apartment was located) was closed and he insisted to pay for our room! I can't thank this team enough.
