Von Trapp Brewery Bierhall - STOWE

First off, Great beer and setting!! The price of the food is a bit high but definitely get the pretzel and bear cheese dip anyway. Really wish they would offer beer flights again.

Food left a lot to be desired. Why such tiny plates??Server seemed a bit lost.Not once offered another drink. Strange as this is a brewery.Save the money and save up and go to Berlin or Munich instead for the real experience not some lame imitation

What a gem! First of all, I'm not a big IPA guy, I love lagers and pilsners and this place has many delicious options. Set on an amazing piece of land overlooking Mt. Mansfield, the outdoor sitting/chilling area is massive and has loads of corn hole sets to play while you wait for you table. I guess I've never had proper Austrian food as this food was beyond delicious. I had the three sausage plate and the flavor combinations were heavenly. The service was great. I can't say enough. Fantastic experience all around for my entire family.

This was a very nice brewery. The atmosphere was bright and refreshing. The staff was very kind and attentive. There are some good beers to try here. Food was very well presented and tasted great. We sat out in the covered greenhouse area which has amazing views of the meadow-like woods nearby. There also seems to be som nice walking paths around the property.

A good lunch stop when in Stowe due to its history. Apparently many others thought the same, as it was fairly busy. The beer was OK and the food was good (I ordered the sausages). The portion was actually quite large. The price tag was on the high side as well.
