It's old carpet, weird entrance lack luster interior certainly is a surprise given its location right next to the ice rink. I was expecting s very cute modern creperie total disappointment. Actually felt dirty there. Additionally it opens rather late so for families who want it before ski school are rushing. The lodge at spruce peak opens at 7am which was a savior for our children who are early risers. I suggest passing on this one.
I waited an hour for an order for four crêpes, while I understand they are busy, they kept telling me they're coming, they're coming five minutes, at the hour mark I asked for a refund was told by the clerk she needed to then find her glasses and she would do it by midnight. Left me standing theee to wait some more!!Took my name and the last four of my credit card number. she would not refund the money while I was there so I said I'm leaving with no food and no refund. I then asked her how long would it be to just get the food and she told me that she already canceled my order absolutely unbelievable and totally rude. Don't think I'm ever going to see my $49 back. No crêpes , no refund, horrible service have been going there since they opened, will never go again!! Find someplace else to eat on the mountain
We went twice. The first time, they got 3 out of 4 orders wrong. The second time we went because one person was celiac and they have gluten free options. But she explained she was celiac and ordered a GF and they gave her a regular crepe, causing her to get sick enough that she lost a day of skiing. The cashier seemed like she couldn't have cared less about the mistake.
The menu choices were decent, and so was the food. Unfortunately the wait was a lot longer than anticipated (about an hour). Within the seating area, everyone was vying for a table. Not the best system setup for a hungry lunch hour. This place isn't too spacious so I would plan ahead by ordering early and then bringing your food to the spruce base camp to eat if crepes is what you're looking for!
Have never had a bad bite to eat here. We frequented the Skinny Pancake when we lived here and it's a staple when we visit. Hotly requested by our kids and a place we take and recommend to out of town friends.
