Over The Wall - STOWE

My girlfriend and I visited Over the Wall on our way back from south central Vermont, heading to the Champlain valley. They were one of the few places open that was also seating in a very challenging COVID-19 environment. We were both super pleased with our experience there. The staff were all incredibly welcoming and friendly. They’d done a nice job with setting up the restaurant to allow for proper distancing, and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. Very tasty. The reduction of the 5th star is only due to our disappointment about the options on the menu. The website showcases an incredible array of fusion options, however, due to many covid-related restrictions, the actual menu was substantially smaller. Still...it was a great dinner and we’d be happy to go again. Hopefully, they’d have the whole menu available again.

We had an amazing dining experience here! From the moment we arrived, the staff and bartender greeted us warmly and even crafted a custom mezcal margarita for my husband upon request! We enjoyed dumplings, tacos, and a ramen bowl, and we couldn't have been more pleased with both the service and the flavors! Everything was delicious, fresh, and one-of-a-kind. This restaurant offers a refreshing change from the typical burgers and pizza found in Stowe with its unique blend of Mexican and Asian cuisine. We can't wait to return!

My wife and I traveled from Delaware to go skiing and decided to have dinner at Over the Wall Taco after our day at Sugarbush. I tried three different tacos, along with four crab beignets. One of the tacos I had was a Korean-style Banh Mi with crispy pig belly, and it was absolutely delicious. I also enjoyed a taco filled with sweet chili fried shrimp, which was fantastic as well. My third taco was smoked brisket; while I thought it was just okay and lacked a strong smoky flavor and seasoning, my wife really liked her two brisket tacos—she even saved one because of the buy-two-get-one-free deal! As for the crab beignets, they were light, hot, and flavorful. Our server, Sean, was attentive and did a great job. We also indulged in some very good tequila drinks. The menu is diverse and intriguing, the interior is beautiful, and I would definitely come back to try more dishes!

You have to try this place, it's so good. Hands down one of the best places to go to Stowe. You will be amazed at how good the food is! The cook is an artist that combines Latin and Asian flavors. They're for a real treat. Best food and drinks in Stowe! Cocktails from this world, paired with foods that blow your mind. Wow.
