The Farm Shop - Stow-On-The-Wold

We visited as a family at one of the Daylesford houses and had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent, making it easy to bring our little grandchild along and take a stroll through the courtyard between courses. The atmosphere is lovely, bright, and airy, and they offer a great selection of well-presented local foods.

The restaurant has a warm and friendly atmosphere. Although the evenings are not the main focus of their business, it was still a quiet and inviting place. The pizza was excellent!

I made a reservation on the same day, as I decided not to cook that evening. However, I didn't really need to book since there was only one other table occupied, which didn't create a great atmosphere. With so few diners, one might expect the server to remember our starter, but he unfortunately did not. He did apologize when he brought the starter along with the main course and didn’t charge me for it, but that wasn't the main issue. The food was good, but there are more inviting places nearby, so I don’t feel inclined to return quickly. It might be better suited for lunch. The place had a rather melancholic vibe, as if no one quite knew why it was open that evening.
