Then it goes into a mom and pop diners feel. Food was great. Different sauces for the wings then the normal hot mild Greek items were unexpected but that 's what I got, the Chicken Gyro. Perfect! Home cut fries was delicious. Needed some vinegar but they were okay with the ketchup.
This was our first experience dining at On Tap, and we were pleased. The food was hot, fresh, and quite tasty. A cousin hosted our family Christmas party there, and she chose a build-your-own-burger buffet that included all the fixings as well as chicken tenders, quesadillas, mozzarella sticks, pierogies, and all necessary condiments. The staff kept the warming dishes full, and they were courteous and friendly. The party room was set up so we could move about freely to visit after eating. I would definitely consider On Tap for another dining occasion.
This brand has struggled with quality over the years but I feel they have finally found what they were looking to provide to its community. An easy place to relax, where service is good, food is fulfilling so many beer choices for those who enjoy some suds.
We have lived probably less than two miles away for three years now and haven’t given this place a try until today. We have been to the one on State Road. State Rd’s modern feel makes the subpar food less noticeable there. We thought we would give it a go since it looked pretty busy so thought it would be good. Although I don’t know what this place was back in the day (either a buffet or diner I’m guessing), it feels like it hasn’t been touched in 25 years. From the entirely outdated fixtures to stained carpet and moldy ceiling tiles, it has all signs of failed-business-to-come. The server was polite, but not particularly attentive or friendly. The dining room floors and our booth seats were dirty. The food was overpriced for its quality and basically was all freezer-to-fryer type stuff; my wrap was cold. Fries were a grease saturated mess and we didn’t really touch them. I didn’t bring any of these items up because I got the impression it was all pretty status quo. Best part of the meal was the free popcorn
I go here every Tuesday for trivia. Jared, the trivia host, is one of the most energetic people I've met. He is very great at his job. We also get dinner during trivia which is great too. The food comes out very fast and the servers are wonderful.
