Handel's Homemade Ice Cream And Yogurt

Over the past 8 years, I have been lucky to be a “friendship family” for teachers who come to Kent State for a semester. Teachers are among the brightest and best from their countries and are selected according to a strict application and interview process. I have brought teachers from Jordan, Lebanon, Ecuador, Indonesia, Kenya, India, Malaysia, Philippines, Uganda, Bangladesh, Brazil, Egypt, Senegal, Tanzania, Mexico, Ghana and Morocco to Handel for a treat... they love him! They said she didn't want to go back to Senegal until she tried every taste. Ricardo, a teacher from Brazil, said he missed me and the coconut cream! Of course I also have so often with my grandchildren on the way to the red playground (we always called it red and white).... To sum it up, even if it's kind of cold out there, we stop by when we have time. It is a special treat for some of the international teachers who have no ice cream in their countries. Everyone loved the Eiscreme-Pops by Handel at the Grad Party this weekend! It was such a big treat and Bruce was so courteous. Recommend this sweet surprise for a special occasion!

I had the deep dish apple pie ice cream last night and it was probably the best ice cream I ever had!
