Kaffegeita - Story City

We visited this place a few years ago during a road trip, and Google just reminded me of it with a timeline update—what a trip down memory lane! There were three of us, and even though it was close to closing time, we were warmly welcomed as soon as we walked in. We asked for drink recommendations, and everyone found something they enjoyed. I can't recall what the other two ordered, but I always go for a double espresso shot and a straightforward hot or iced latte, and it was fantastic. The espresso was memorable, adding a nice boost for the drive ahead. My sister also purchased some goat milk lotion that she had been raving about for days, claiming it was of high quality. I didn't try it myself, but I'm happy for her. The atmosphere was cozy, and the restrooms were well-stocked. Both baristas were great conversationalists during our visit, although this may vary depending on the day. I would highly recommend this place to anyone I talk to about my trip!

The coffee and breakfast were fantastic, and the staff were very friendly. It was a wonderful surprise and the perfect stop during our long journey.

COFFEE!!! It's fantastic! Udder Joy is simply outstanding! My wife enjoys the chicken salad sandwich for lunch. No matter what we try—since we like to switch things up occasionally—everything always leaves us saying, "OMG, that was delicious!" Keep up the great work, KaffeGeita Baristas!

Whenever we visit Story City, we'll stop at Kaffe Geita. We love their selection of espresso and tea drinks, and they have drinks and soup specialities every day. The staff is top notch, knowledge about their products, and quickly go over the regular coffee shop experience to ensure that you are served well. Coffee Geita is located within a minute of the I-35 Story City exit. You have good seating when you want lounge and chat, and a ride through when you are in a hurry. You have unique and delicious espresso drinks: if you have never had a caramel nanny before, then you are missing!

Great local coffee shop. Friendly staff, reasonable prices, great drinks and great food. The drive through line moves fairly quickly so you can get your coffee on the go. The drink menu has a good variety and they have monthly special drinks.
