The servers did their best to select the rest of the staff. The kitchen requires a lot of improvement, as we did not finish our meal. The presence of fruit flies certainly did not help the situation. We quickly paid and left, as the experience was not worth a doggy bag.
We arrived at the restaurant after 9:00, escaping the rain. The place was not very busy, but we waited a long time to be acknowledged by the staff. We eventually sat in the bar area and a friendly server finally came over to take our drink order. The bartender was also friendly and took our food order. The appetizer, calamari, was delicious. However, as the evening went on, it seemed like they needed more attention at the front entrance. There didn't appear to be a manager on duty. The staff we interacted with were great, but it would be nice to have more gluten-free options on the menu. Overall, we were satisfied with our experience and will be trying out Stoney Creek Berg next time.
The food was good, but really in portions and price do not fit at all. our server was great. However, there was a person we believe was the shift manager who wore so strong, obnoxic kokain that every time he came to our table we were going to hang on it. To be honest, restaurant staff should not wear fragrant because eating ends tasting like perfume instead of food.
Good service. Blue cheese was terrible. Got the “Buffalo” Chicken Strips that had very little hot sauce flavour, a little more like KFC. Breading separated from chicken. Chicken was tender although. Blue cheese dip was not chilled, very little actual blue cheese, seemed to be no-name salad dressing type. I think it was past expiry, stomach was not happy.
