I have eaten at other vegan restaurants, and some of it 's ok, some of it, I don 't like. I ordered the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich, which was actually pretty good. My wife ordered the 5 pc wings with raspberry chipotle sauce. She also ordered a side of Mac cheese. She asked the girl taking our order What is Credo cheese? Is it a cashew based product? The girl said Oh, no. It 's not cashew based. Don 't worry, there are no allergens in it. Well, I looked up Credo, and their cheese is cashew based. We don 't have any nut allergies, my wife was just curious. But this could have turned out bad if either one of us had any allergies. The wings had a weird texture, and the Mac cheese also tasted kinda weird. There is very little information as far as ingredients, and no nutritional info on their website. Plus $10 for a 5 pc wings is a little much. I don 't think I 'll be back. This is a revision to the above review. I email the company about the discrepancy about their cheez sauce. They responded and I was told that the company Credo, that makes their cheez, makes a special version for them that is entirely made of oats. This company needs to put a little more info on their website or links to what ingredients they use.
It's a little dive. Loved the sandwiches. Not really a sit down place, love that it's ALL vegan. Fries were delicious. Ice maker was broken, that's stupid for a restaurant. Would I go back? Definitely yes, but I would pickup not eat there.
The burning question I have is how the heck do they make a vegan burger patty taste so good? Project Pollo nails it. I had they Backyard burger with vegan cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and their delicious sauce. Really really good. Their tots were crispy on the outside but soft and flavorful inside. Project Pollo has a few tables for dine in as well as a few tables outside. Everything is packaged up to go whether you dine in or carryout. Seems like it's more of a waste of paper and packaging for customers dining in. Tables were a little bit dirty and counter tops needed a wipe down but other than that the staff was friendly and the food was great. Even though I'm a meat eater Project Pollo is a good and tasty alternative!
Delicious!!!! The chicken patty is crispy and crunchy on the outside but moist on the inside. My husband (a huge fan of real chicken sandwhiches) and I (vegetarian) both thoroughly enjoyed it. Will definitely be coming back!
Seriously one of my favorite chicken places. First vegan experience and didn't know what to think but it was delicious. Seems like they have a lot of promotions and discounts which makes the price even more reasonable. I really enjoyed it and I was surprised myself. Definitely coming back and bringing my friends. Great staff too, kind and accommodating.
