Mariachisss Tacos

Loved everything! The staff is so kind and helpful! Loved my enchiladas! The enchiladas sauce was so good! Everyone, even the customers feel like family. Haven't been to the food truck, but the restaurant is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Food is the best in San Antonio. I swear to you, the best Mexican food ever. Plz plz plz try it, you won't regret it

So I decided to give this place a try last night. As I walked in there was maybe 3 waitresses standing at a counter on the far side of the restaurant near the kitchen and there was another counter near the door where I assume takeout orders are taken(there was no greeter there at the time). So I stood in front as to not seem rude or pushy. I ended up standing there for about 10 minutes as the waitresses giggled and talked amongst themselves occasionally looking but not greeting me or waving me over to place an order. Eventually one of them came to the counter and asked if I was placing to-go order and took my order. I had the birria tacos. When I got home(a short 4 minute drive from the restaurant) and I was so disappointed. This is the worse birria I’ve had in the city of San Antonio. It lacked flavor and the shells were tough to bite into. Even after chewing I could still hard pieces when swallowing. It almost felt like razors going down my throat. This place is a definite “NO” for me. The atmosphere was your typical Mexican decor however it was dimly lit but seemed like it was clean. I wish I had read the reviews before I went. I wouldn’t go back here even if they were offering free food.

Great food! If you want birria tacos, this is the place to go. Prices are comparable.

I saw this place on TikTok so it was a must try! Was not disappointed, was so good I wanted to try everything on the menu. I don’t live in the area but best believe I will be back.
