La Cavana Mexican

Been going there for over 10 years. Not great ambiance but we go for the food, The portions are more than ample and always freshly prepared. Service is always prompt and attentive. We'll be back!

It's been about a year since last time I dined at La Cabana Mexican Restaurant. Chips Salsa are still complimentary, Salsa is zesty flavorful, chips are a bit too greasy. I ordered the Thursday #1 Lunch Special, 2 Enchiladas, 2 Beef Puffy Tacos, served with rice beans. Enchiladas were good, even though not made with real cheddar cheese. I believe it was prepared with either American Cheese or processed cheese!? The Beef Puffy Tacos were also good, not too greasy, puffy taco shell was light beef portions were satisfactory. Beans were fairly good, rice was impressively good. Tortillas are homemade, both flour corn, which is a great thing! Over all, I enjoyed my meal, my server provided outstanding customer service! Daily lunch specials do not include iced tea, like some restaurants offer. But still a good value considering the portion size....you won't leave hungry!! On the down fall, only 1 daily lunch special is offered. It would be great if there were additional selections. Regardless, I will still revisit to explore the menu more.

La Cabana has been a long time family favorite- I would recommend the #1 anytime! It has been very much a community meeting place, a place to celebrate milestones and a place for a quick stop off before the next adventure.

Used to be good. Now sucks!!!! Hot inside!!! Ac issues arise but **** man. Shut down till it's repaired!!! My girl and I each got a crispy beef and crispy chicken taco. There was literally 9 chips in the basket. Our tacos came out and we literally had a pinch of cheese and 4 pencil eraser size pieces of tomato on each taco with 3 hand fulls of lettuce. Absolutely ridiculous!!!!!!! Chicken was hard and stringy. Beef was flavorless. Service was great and tea was great. Food was ****!!!!! Never again...
