The guy that was working making the waffles showed absolute artistic precision and dedication to the craft, a true joy to watch. My daughter ordered the bubble waffle with mint chocolate chip ice cream and some poke and pandas and she absolutely loved what she ordered and had no complaints. I ordered a mango smoothie and mango gel and boba and I was not as pleased with mine. The cashier seemed a bit confused and didn't add the tapioca pearls I asked for, the drink was almost room temperature (and I was really wanting a cold fruity drink in this heat) and the bottom of the cup was a bunch of grainy sugar. I was literally crunching on sugar as I drank it, which led me to not being able to drink it. We had already left so I thought I would just try putting it in the freezer when I got home but that didn't help. There are other really great boba places I'd rather stick to for that but for the bubble waffles, we'd definitely go back.
We stopped by Kuma after dinner yesterday. I got the mucho Mango ice cream with strawberry and chocolate pocky, rainbow mochi, sprinkles and chocolate sauce. There was quick a crowd at the time we went so a little bit of wait to get our order. The bubble waffle is always so much to eat. I can never finish it.
I love this ice cream shop because of the twist they put in their product. The warm pancake bubble shell slightly softens the ice cream. And for a soft ice cream lover--it's a match made in Heaven! Also, the little toppings bar makes me incredibly happy. Kuma is an experience more than just an ice cream shop. *Highly recommend *if you're okay with paying $10 for an ice cream cone
Great ice cream and a variety of toppings! loved the waffle cone and the mini mochis are soooo good
Loved the food/ice cream but it seems like they are pretty understaffed. The workers are obviously working hard but they just can't keep up. Otherwise, a great experience though!
