There is limited seating, due to the size of the building, and no waiting area. There was a modest staff. The menus were much lighter weight than the Texas menus. No rolls were offer
I absolutely love it here! If you love omelettes, you have to try one from here. You won't be disappointed! The health score was a little low this time around but I blame the county for not doing an inspection in the past year or more as I'm sure they always fix whatever the issue is. I don't eat out much these days so today was a real treat. If you want some good food and something different than your usual eatery, you should definitely check out the Original Pancake House!
The BEST...worth the trip. I've read a couple of reviews that were disparaging and was SO surprised. We drive from East Cobb to go to this place for breakfast. Everything is great....the pancakes are the best!
Omg. The food is delicious, service was fantastic. I'd eat there everyday if I lived here.
Quality Worth The Trip. This is a very good place for breakfast. I have eaten at Original Pancake house in DC Metro before, and the menus are very much the same. Extensive and quality choices, prices are pricey in a sense but you get what you pay for making it a good deal for the quality. In no means though are they an upscale Richard Walkers English Style Fine Breakfast (Crystal Lake, IL West Coast), but they do have many menu items like the fore-said. On a very cold unseasonably late January morning, we enjoyed a Dutch Baby of perfect “standing” (if you know the dish) classically complemented with powdered sugar lemon wedges. Also potato pancakes that had thin crispy edges, perfect shape and golden crepe like centers. Accompanied by sour cream added a side of silky smooth applesauce, this choice was very good. The plates are large, about 10”, and the generous servings with nice presentation top it off. We also opted for turkey sausage (2 patties) which was recommended by our pleasant attentive server Kelly. If someone had not told you it was good lean pork, you could not tell the difference. The spices texture were the same (Great choice—good tip). Free flowing above average diner coffee with real half half made it complete. Although very cold outside (below 20 F), the well lit and large widow panorama café was warm and cozy inside. Overall, a great place for couples, the kids and anyone wanting a decent breakfast with extensive creative options of better than average quality.
