Sunshine Jamaican - Stone Mountain

Just tried this place over the weekend for the first time. Chicken/goat combo was delicious and a nice sized portion. The woman at the counter (Saturday) was very polite and respectful I appreciated that. She has a nice attitude. The wait time for the food also wasn’t bad.

Food is of good portion and cheap price. The pork jerky is very tasty and a little spicy. The fried chicken is different from American fried chicken, and is also tasty. The girl at the ordering counter is not good at explaining things at all. Not impressed with her. Even dining in dishes come in to-go boxes, which is strange, and shows this place is not remotely interested in creating a good dining experience. But food quality and portion deserve 5 stars.

I always enjoy my food here. I get the oxtails and my husband gets curry chicken and goat. I live too far to come weekly but I try to make my way here whenever I'm in the area. I recommend this spot bc I haven't been to a restaurant that is better. Peridot Pooh

When I had surgery and couldn't eat solid foods. I ordered soup from here almost every day. I would ask for just broth, no food. Best soup in the area. I love the red peas soup and Manish water, my favorite. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
