Papa John's Pizza - Stoke-on-Trent

I picked up a couple of pizzas during my stay at the Premier Inn. They were delicious with plenty of toppings, just what I was looking for!

Consistent from the other branches in this franchise and service was good (ready exactly when they said it would be). The offers are better than Domino but you need make sure you pick the best one.

Ordered a pizza online, which was confirmed at Received a call at to say that the driver had rung the doorbell and was outside. We do not have a doorbell and there was no driver outside. Called the franchise and the girl was...incredibly rude. She could not comprehend that we do not have a door bell and that the driver may have gone to the wrong house. She was insistent that the driver was outside despite us walking the streets in the cold. Three phone calls later and she was still saying the same thing!!!! Unbelievable. She refused to resolve the issue and simply kept repeating that he was here even when we were stood on the street whilst talking to her. She then claimed that he had tried to call us, before later admitting that it was actually her calling us. This is utterly unacceptable service and I would highly recommend people not to order from this establishment. Such a shame as every other franchise we have used has been great.

We tried Papa Johns as Dominos seems to get saltier every time we have it. The pizza was gorgeous and the delivery was brilliant. My only issue is with the ‘special garlic sauce’ which is horrible. Whatever you do, don’t make the mistake of using...this sauce, your pizza will be ruined! Nice pizza, great delivery, horrible sauce!

Food was lovely, great service, food was ready in timely manner, manager took the time to suggest a couple of alternatives, trying to get a pizza we would really enjoy. Staff were extremely customer focused. Car parking isn't great, not much space and the neighbour...doesn't like you parking on his carpark. Would certainly recommend!
