The value for money at £39 is amazing and you can eat as much as you like. The variety of dishes, including crab, mussels, salads, roast beef, seasonal vegetables, and desserts, was impressive. The staff were exceptional and the owner even took the time to visit each table and chat with guests. After dining, there was live music in the coast bar featuring Tash and Deano. Overall, it was a fantastic evening at this family-run hotel.
The hotel is a bit old-fashioned but the staff is very attentive. Clean, comfortable, and cozy. Location is not amazing but close to everything. Good value for money.
We wanted to eat there but ended up just having a drink instead. Limited selection of drinks and a very basic menu.
In today's economy, providing good customer service is essential, especially in the hospitality industry. Unfortunately, it seems that the Ommaroo Hotel, even while hosting a charity event, prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction. This was the worst experience I've had at a function in Jersey, and I have no plans to return. I can only imagine that the majority of the 68 guests feel the same way.
My family and I recently had a fantastic afternoon tea at this historic hotel. It was our first time dining out together since lockdown, and we were impressed by the safety measures and the spacious restaurant layout. We savored delicious sandwiches and cakes while enjoying the beautiful view of the seaside esplanade. The staff were incredibly helpful, and the convenience of on-site parking was an added bonus that made our experience even more enjoyable.
