Neelam Valley - Stoke-on-Trent

I would give this restaurant 0 stars if I could! Avoid at all costs! I ordered the 2 value box and a pepperoni pizza online to be delivered by 8:30pm. The value box arrived at 8:50pm, 20 minutes late, and there was no pizza included. The delivery person spoke very little English and quickly left without explaining. My partner called to inquire about the missing pizza, and we were told it was on its way. When we opened the value box, we found that the food was poorly thrown together with hard, stale, and cold chips, dry and overcooked chicken tikka, bland and soggy salad, and greasy donner meat. The 1pc chicken was inedible due to being soaked in grease. The pizza finally arrived at 9:30pm, an hour after ordering and 40 minutes after the original delivery time, with no apology. Unfortunately, the pizza was greasy and overly cheesy, leading to only 3 slices being consumed before it was thrown away. This was a very disappointing first experience with Neelam Valley, and we will not be ordering from them again. I regret not following my initial instincts and avoiding this restaurant based on reviews.

The food was superb! Delivered swiftly and was hot when I received it! There was so much we couldn’t eat it all! We warmed it up the following day in the microwave and tasted even better! I can’t fault the food it’s so tasty and plentiful plus the service and delivery are superb! Food is just amazing! If you read any bad reviews then they are telling dibs! Honestly I’m 62 yrs of age and their food is just superb!!! Thank you Neelam valley for your amazing food and top service!!!

The food at this restaurant is decent and arrives quickly, but there is a recurring issue where they forget to include all of the items in our orders. This results in us having to call and wait for the missing items to be delivered, then re-heat our food. We have also been questioned about our honesty, which is frustrating. After 8 years of dealing with these issues, we have decided not to give this restaurant any more of our money.

My husband and I ordered two meals from Neelam restaurant: the Murgha Keema Cheese Curry from the chef's specials and a King Prawn Biryani. Our food arrived within 15 minutes of placing our online order, and it was piping hot and well packed with no spillages. We also received complimentary popadoms with two tubs of chutney. The curries were colorful and delicious, with plenty of king prawns in the biryani and lots of chicken in the curry. The chicken was moist, white, and extremely flavorful. The total cost, including delivery, was £14.80, which was enough food for three people. We have plenty of leftovers to reheat tomorrow. I would highly recommend Neelam to anyone looking for first-class food and excellent service.
