The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the service is excellent. The food is fresh and delicious. Definitely worth a visit and they have so much more to offer.
This is my updated review, after visiting on numerous occasions since the great COVID debacle. Luckily this establishment miraculously survived the insane and useless lock downs during the pandemic. The cafe can be found inside what used to be the old Fenton Town Hall and Courts, (the cafe actually being what used to be the judges chambers). You will always find a warm welcome from the proprietor who has worked incredibly hard to build up what has become a superb little business. The food is always EXCELLENT. There's a nice choice of warm and cold sandwiches, paninis etc. Soups, baps, cakes and a decent choice of beverages all at competitive prices. I can personally recommend the Tuna Cheese melt. Parking can found at a nearby car park which, considering it's a Stoke City Council car park, isn't too expensive. You may be lucky enough though to be able to park in the local streets, but don't count on it. My only VERY slight gripe, is that during my past few visits, there has been what seems to be a women's community group of some kind in residence. Now they seems to be very nice ladies who do good for the local community, but they can be a little loud and rambunctious at times. However it's not so bad as for me to take a star off. I will definitely visit again.
I have visited this restaurant around five times and can confidently say that the hospitality, service, and food have all been excellent. The prices are great and the venue has a charming Victorian setting in Fenton Town Hall, which was previously home to Fenton Courts and Magistrates Offices. They offer a variety of soups, sandwiches, cakes, teas, coffees, and soft drinks at competitive prices, all freshly made to order. I highly recommend stopping by to give it a try, you can find their opening times in the photo provided. Everything I have tried here has been fantastic! Parking may be a bit of a challenge as it is primarily street parking, which can get busy on most days, but I have always managed to find a spot. There is also a council-run car park just a short walk away. The only minor issue I have encountered on two out of my five visits is the presence of a local individual who seems to linger around the cafe aimlessly. During my last visit, he stood by the counter and sneezed loudly without covering his mouth/nose, which is concerning given the current global situation with the virus. The proprietor did ask him to leave if he continued, but if he were to return, I would hesitate to stay.
Visited with friends nice service and helpful staff very pleasant would definitely visit again. If going that way again
