Hm Prison Cafe - Stockton-on-Tees

The cafe is easy to find alongside the Prison perimeter fences near allotments and chicken coops. Walk past the car wash area and you will see the humble building serving as the cafe. There are plenty of places to sit, it is warm, clean and welcoming. We had a tasty quiche and salad generous portions. Followed by scones and cup of tea. The scones were obviously freshly baked and were delicious. The overall price offered very good value for money. If you are traveling around the area definitely give it a go and give the inmates a chance to improve their chances of gaining employment and making a positive contribution to society.

I met up with friends to get our cars cleaned and have breakfast at this restaurant. The food was great, the atmosphere was friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. It's a lovely place, and I will definitely be going back soon.

Had a wonderful breakfast, and had my car valeted, and it came back has a new car. The lads in cooking, and valeting were a pleasure to talk to. Nothing was a problem

Got a very positive experience about the people, their professionalism and their friendly and polite attitude to their customers: came here from Germany to get my cat groomed and have a bite to eat meanwhile! Everything went excelllent! Will be back in September with a group of scientist friends from China!

Marvellous full valet of the car. A delicious scone and cup of tea whilst I waited. Excellent service and everyone was so so friendly.
