Durham Road Fish - Stockton-on-Tees

Probably the worst fish n chips ever, soggy fish, dry old chips, never again. Be warned if you want decent go to Robinson's at rimswell

This little chippy is a gem. The man behind the counter is always polite, the food is delicious and incredibly good value for money. I just wish I lived closer so I could go more often.

Well as I said great smell stopped me in my tracks. Asked for a litely battered cod was given that along with my bread bun. Awkward for me getting in because of my wheelchair but the lady brought it to me Called a few times since a very nice feeling it gives me. TRY IT

The food here is delicious. However we rang yesterday to check it was open New Year’s Eve and were told yes. Last orders 6.45 closed 7pm. We arrived early at 5.50 to be told they were closing! A gentleman behind us asked for an extra large haddock to raised eyebrows and a frown from the server! He said, I came in earlier to check you were open. Server responded with” we have been quiet all day!” Very disappointed that such lovely food was spoilt by the server. More disappointed for the people who came in after 6 pm hoping for a nice supper. Get your timings sorted and stick to them!

I visit my dad regularly from West Yorkshire. We usually have fish and chips during my visit. We have been again today and lovely as ever. The chap behind the counter is always friendly and the food is always really nice. Fish is thick, white and flaky just how we like them. Lovely. See you again next time
