The Midland Marple Bridge - Stockport

We always have good food and good service in the midland. the staff is so friendly and helpful. in the pub there is a beautiful ambiente. very beautiful furnishings and environment. eating was very well cooked and good quality served

My elderly mother, a friend and I had a wedding anniversary lunch at The Midland today Monday) and had a really nice time. The setting by the river Goyt is charming. Our food including Salmon and Pork plus scallops) was well presented and tasty. The service was prompt and the atmosphere relaxed. We were not hurried away after our meal and stayed chatting. I would definitely book again.

We had a lovely time. We arrived early for drinks by the fire and chatting. This was a special occasion and we really had a good time. The food was excellent and the waitresses were really friendly.

The staff were lovely but we ordered 2 fish and chips and I noticed that my friend didn’t eat her fish . The salmon was lovely and pizza good . I had fish and I thought it was ok but chips were disappointing

Sunday lunch for my Mum’s 75th birthday, we had a great time. Food and service were excellent.
