The Bakehouse - Stockport

This restaurant in Stockport is a hidden gem. We were a group of 11 women and had arranged with the owner in advance for afternoon tea. It was fantastic and we were surprised by the generous amount of food we received. The cakes were delicious and the staff were excellent, going above and beyond for us. Thank you to the team for a lovely afternoon that was enjoyed by all.

This was my first visit to this charming little restaurant. They offer a variety of homemade treats and the staff is very attentive. The only downside is the limited parking available.

I visited this wonderful little cafe in Stockport for my daughter's 10th birthday Afternoon Tea and it was absolutely fantastic. From the moment I contacted them to make a reservation, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The spread of afternoon tea for both the kids and adults was incredibly generous, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. We were even able to take home any leftovers in a box. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. The cafe itself had a lovely bright and airy setting, making it a hidden gem on Buxton Road.

Been past many time but never called in till today, just had a tea and Chicken salad sandwich, when it arrived it was more like a chicken salad, sandwich some salad and chips very nice. Service was great, and food delivered after a very short wait, will be walking past again and definitely calling in.

Remains our favourite Saturday lunch spot. Laura and team do lovely food and drinks in a friendly and relaxing atmosphere- and check out the Afternoon Teas and Birthday Cake special orders. Worth checking table availability beforehand at peak times.
