Archer's Bakers Confectioners

My family and I have used Archers Bakers Confectioners for the past forty three years and during this period we have never had any cause for complaint with any product item. The range of products is restricted compared to the large bakery chains but the quality of the products is far far better than anything these chains produce (obviously that goes for the supermarkets as well). The custards are exquisite, the pies and sausage rolls are wonderful, the barm cakes are sensational. I could go through the whole range applauding in a similar manner but I have concentrated on my own favourites. I have just one problem with the shop. They sell out of their goods so quickly sometimes I am disappointed because I arrived at the shop too late to get what I want.

Pies, pastries and bread, the finest for miles around. They open when the baking is done and if you delay its gone!

Famous for their meat pies and lovely bread they have been providing their delicious bread ,cakes and pies to the people of Marple for over 60 years

Told by local friend that this bakery made the best pies for miles, bought a few items including pies to take back to hotel as a snack, they were all excellent lovely to still find craft bakeres makeing quality food

A good meal for vegetarians are the cheese-and-onion pies. They are a trifle expensive but delicious. Have been buying them for decades. Try them.
