The location on Djurgården is lovely, with a large terrace for summer dining and a cozy atmosphere inside. Unfortunately, the quality of our food was not impressive, but it was overshadowed by the poor attitude of our waitress. While my friend's appetizer and main course were just okay, my Elk Wallenberg was extremely disappointing. When I pointed out the issue to the waitress, she showed no concern. Instead of trying to make it right, she simply brushed off my complaint. The apple pie for dessert was decent, but the highlight of the evening was when I ordered strawberry ice cream and received a bowl filled with blueberries instead. The waitress claimed that it was blueberry ice cream, leaving us completely astonished. While the restaurant itself is charming, the unimpressive food and unprofessional staff make it difficult for me to recommend it. There are plenty of other good restaurants to choose from, so be cautious when dining here.
I came to this restaurant for dinner after visiting the ABBA Museum, which was just a short walk away. The atmosphere here is traditionally Swedish, reflected in both the decor and the menu. I tried Ulla Winbladh's choice of Swedish flavors, which included a sampler platter of gravlax, herring in mustard, reindeer dip, and Skagen toast. I would rate this dish an 8, with the reindeer dip being my favorite and the gravlax coming in a close second. I also ordered the poached cod with chopped egg, shrimps, horseradish, browned butter, and boiled potato, which I would also rate an 8. The cod portion was bigger than expected and went well with the horseradish and brown butter, although the chopped egg and boiled potatoes were a bit bland. Overall, it was a hearty and satisfying meal. The service from both waitresses I interacted with was great.
After our amazing trip to see Vasa museum, we found Ullas place! I'm not entirely sure, but I think this used to be an old hunting lodge, dating back 500 years. Again, a warm welcome, and a old copper table, with Chesterfield armchairs. Old school luxury! A glass of wine for my wife, an IPA beer, for myself, and lemonade for my girl. Looking at the wine list, it's safe to say it's a very expensive restaurant with an expansive selection. Again, old style Swedish decadence, and very much worth a visit. About 10/15 minutes from Vasa museum.
Great place with fantastic Swedish style eats them the meatballs they are not like ikea the fish casrole is like a very full bowl suppe with large pieces of casrol and salmon. we had started the shrimp toast, which was exactly the right amount to prepare for dinner. the heavenly desert was wonderful and they have an excellent weeping list.
Great service and eating. a classic Swedish restaurant with good atmosphere and service the staff there is very friendly and beautiful. the service is really good and they give good advices the restaurant is child-friendly. they have paper, knüppel and toys to paint so children can play the food especially delicious. we ordered meatballs, bark steak and fish. Everyone is nice, but I like particularly naked. they have a great choice of drinks and whispers. they could probably get the most classic Swedish options there! highly recommended if you want the typical Swedish service, inside and eating.
