The outdoor tables are decent for waiting, but the interior is a bit small. They offer many menu items in vegan versions, but it's important to double check your order as the English skills of the staff can vary. They also have special lunches on weekdays. The food is tasty and the portions are generous.
Eat here three times and the first two was okay, nothing special, but okay. This time we got the most disgusting shrimp odour in one of the dishes that asked us whether it was vegan at all. will not eat again
There are many, many things that could make this place better. But you have to judge what it is. It's basically a hole-in-the-wall, with a few tables. Not something from Guide Michelin. Surely there is a little language barrier, with all the Asian staff. But they can certainly freeze these vegetables! Perfect consistency, perfect balance between sweet, sour and salty. Beautiful Spicyness, beautiful big Tofu bites. This is where you go when you are near, suddenly feel hungry. Not for booking a table for your date night. They'll get you at a reasonable price. If you do not worry about cross-contamination, this is a beautiful place for a quick lunch! Come back!
I am perplexed as to why this restaurant is listed on Happy Cow and why there are claims of multiple vegan options. When I tried to order, I was informed that there was only one vegan option available and no other dishes could be made vegan. Thankfully, my Swedish friend intervened on my behalf and I was able to enjoy the one vegan dish that was offered, which was delicious. However, I was disappointed by the limited selection of vegan dishes available.
I have ordered takeout from this restaurant several times and have always been impressed. The food is fresh, delicious, and affordable, with generous portions. Despite being located on a busy corner, there are a few booths inside where you can wait for your order at the bar. The service is friendly, although it can get busy during dinner hours, so there may be a wait of up to 15 minutes. This restaurant is a great option for taking your meal to one of the nearby parks on Kungsholmen on a nice day. While they cannot guarantee a completely vegan menu due to potential cross-contamination, they do offer tofu as a protein option for many dishes. Look for the green seal symbol indicating 100% tofu options on the menu. Some dishes come with egg noodles, but you can request rice instead. Overall, a solid choice for a satisfying meal.
