Borgmaestarn - Stockholm

Short term reservation worked well. the restaurant was quite empty (in the half at six,) but the waiters were super friendly and the eating was really good. the prices were normal for sweden.

The quality of the food was excellent as was the location and beer (we didn't try the wine). The waiting staff were friendly, but busy. Service felt a little rushed due to this, but in hindsight they were whizzing around the tables ensuring everybody got served. Would highly recommend.

Run by three VERY hardworking staff and a fantastic chef, this is a lovely place for a main meal and a celebration of our time in Stockholm. We had three courses and the food was simply divine. If I could give this place 6 stars I would. PS...the chocolate fondant should be made a black market drug it was that good!

Restaurant booked via TheFork. Beautiful place and good service. We ate the famous Swedish Meatballs with mashed potatoes and lingonberry for SEK 198 but it was good and these are the prices in Gamlastan. On the other hand, very disappointed by the portion of cheesecake and chocolate fondant compared to the price paid (95 SEK and 115 SEK) and then by the waiter's insistent and ungracious attitude for a tip when paying. Mixed feelings..

Lovely little find in Stockholm old town. Amazing food and great atmosphere.
