However, the person at the front door was quite frustrating; I’m not sure what her job title would be, but she was not helpful at all. Our party consisted of three large adults, a toddler, and a 12-year-old, yet she insisted on seating us at a cramped booth. It was absurd. We then requested to be moved to a table where we would have more space and feel more comfortable, and fortunately, another staff member accommodated our request without any issues. Unfortunately, the woman at the door showed her incompetence again when her manager informed her that another group was arriving, and she needed to rearrange some tables. Watching her frantically push tables and chairs around while guests were trying to enjoy their meals was quite alarming. It felt chaotic and unprofessional. If she wasn’t in the mood to work that day, she should have stayed home rather than making the experience unpleasant for everyone else. Aside from her, I would say that Applebee's provided a decent stop for lunch or dinner.
This Applebee’s is a solid option if you enjoy this type of cuisine. Its location is easily accessible from I-75, and parking is a breeze. The restaurant is clean and busy, which indicates good management. On this Veterans Day, during the complimentary meal service, the host kindly asked if we would like to share a table—this was optional, not mandatory. This arrangement helped the staff manage everyone efficiently. The door was open for us to enter and exit comfortably on this cool day. We tried the Fiesta Lime Chicken, which features a sautéed chicken breast topped with a flavorful southwest sauce and melted Cheddar Jack cheese. It was served with delicious southwestern rice that was perfectly cooked—separate and not sticky. The dish was accompanied by a lime wedge, pico de gallo, and colorful tortilla strips. Overall, it was a great choice, especially since we’ve dined at various locations in the U.S. before, and they have always maintained consistency across the chain. Our server, Sharonda, was incredibly pleasant and professional. We ended up sharing a table with another couple who had specific and somewhat demanding requests. However, the service staff handled their needs well without any issues. One of the ladies wanted a different vegetable after her meal was served, and she received two fresh sides without any complaint from the staff. Another customer was dissatisfied that her food was touching on the plate and thought the complimentary steak was too small, but her friend advised her to let it go. The steak customer didn’t express any issues with how it was cooked, as she seemed satisfied when taking leftovers home, and even ordered dessert. The other customer, who didn’t have a complimentary meal, ordered baby back ribs that were thoroughly enjoyed, leaving her plate clean. Throughout the busy hour, Sharonda provided excellent service, meeting and exceeding all our needs. She truly is a professional that I would love to have working in my own café. The iced tea was good, but my wife mentioned that the coffee wasn’t fresh—this was our only complaint, which is typical but still unacceptable during the afternoon hours. It’s always a good idea to ask for fresh coffee; most servers will brew a new pot. Applebee’s supports numerous charitable organizations, as indicated by a “No Kid Hungry” sticker by the door. Overall, it was a great meal with good service, made even better by the beneficial cause behind it. We look forward to returning to this location.
I placed an online order for the blondie dessert for pickup and followed the instructions to notify the restaurant of my arrival. After waiting for 20 minutes and watching other customers receive their orders, I called to check on my order. Only then was I informed that they were out of the dessert. The server who was handling the orders could have simply let me know I had arrived, but they seemed hesitant to address the issue. When I spoke with the manager, I was not offered any replacements or compensation for the inconvenience. Instead, she just made excuses, saying things like, "Oh, they shouldn't have allowed you to order online," and "It should have been a phone order." It felt like she was trying to shift the blame onto others rather than taking responsibility.
I gave 3 stars because the service was excellent. However, that's the only thing to brag about. The food was not good. I had Chicken Alfredo that was so watery it was like soup. I had to add a ton of black pepper and salt. The pasta was over cooked and mushy. The chicken was dry. How do you have dry chicken and soupy pasta? I don't even know I won't be eating here again. The prices are too high for the quality of food.
There is a terrible restaurant ..and too much waiting time, thing is getting worse never go back again
